Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of the national economy and the process of industrialization and urbanization, China's steel production has increased by more than five times in the past 14 years. Industry insiders believe that economic growth drives the development of the steel industry, and the explosive expansion of production capacity has its objective rationality. However, the growth rate of crude steel production significantly declined in 2014.
